From the Krohn Estate, the "Quinta do Retiro Novo" which is situated in one of the noblest parts of the Douro Demarcated Region - the Rio Torto valley, comes this very special port.
Produced from the harvest of 1958 when the autumn began at a high temperature but the harvest was completed in perfect conditions. Matured for at least seven years to acquire the rich colour of the old tawnies, a fine and complex bouquet, nutty charcater and silky texture.
